Nice Website - 100% Irish owned website design in Cork, Ireland

We are different. Here’s why:

1 NO HIDDEN COSTS

Most affordable-website design places will create a basic website for a fee. Then they will charge hefty fees for ‘add-ons’ and managing your website on an ongoing basis.

By the time you realise the true cost, you’re so far in that it feels like it’s not worth the trouble to start again.

So you end up having to pay an annual fee to host your website, plus the additional fees for their add-ons and site management throughout the year.

This is the most common affordable-website design model in Ireland.

We offer an alternative.

With Nice Website, we will create your website for a highly-competitive price and don’t charge extra for the ‘add-ons’ that we believe are basic features and should be included in the upfront cost.

Once your website is up and running, rather than paying us hefty and unpredictable fees over time to manage your website, you will pay one standard annual fee: either €162 (incl. VAT) for a standard website, or €250 (incl. VAT) for an eCommerce* site.

More on the two website options here.

For that annual fee, you will get 12 months of support for all of your needs, whether it be related to making design changes, adding products or services, managing bookings & appointments, payment processors, etc.

*eCommerce means a website that sells products or services through the website’s own checkout system.

2 LOW COST, BIG AGENCY RESULTS

For many small businesses and freelancers, the money isn’t always there, especially in the start-up stage, to access established website design or creative agencies.

The people working at these agencies are talented and deserve to be well-paid. However, this model means that clients pay a premium to cover payroll and other expenses related to the premium results these agencies produce.

At Nice Website, rather than paying our Ireland-based talent as in-house employees, we hire on a project-by-project basis, and this allows us to pass much lower running costs onto our clients.

All of our team members want to work remotely and that preference fits neatly into our business model.

We see it as a bit of a win-win all round. Our team members are happy with flexible work arrangements and our clients get the premium results of a larger website design agency for a much reduced cost.

3 BORING WEBSITES

A lot of affordable-website design places will take a website they have already designed for someone else and make some tweaks for you.

We don’t do that. Instead, we create a bespoke website that considers the unique personality, needs and wants of each individual client.

Your website is an extension of your brand. It reflects the quality of your products and services.

A website is often the place where someone discovers you for the first time. First impressions matter, especially in the digital space.

The look and feel of your website is important to you, of course, but it’s also important to your competitors. Having a boring website keeps your competitors happy.

4 INEFFECTIVE WEBSITES

Uninspiring, seen-it-before, websites aren’t just drab, they’re also ineffective.

The first few seconds when a visitor lands on your website are crucial. If it doesn’t have a positive impact right away, the visitor moves on. You know this because you yourself are an internet user. You already know how most people react if they don’t instantly like what they see.

Our website design team has experience in communications, media relations, speechwriting, advertising, graphic design, logo design, brand merchandising, photography and social media.

Do you need all that in a website? Not likely. But that’s the experience going into the websites we create and it makes a big difference to the end result.

It’s not enough for your website to be built, it needs to be effective.

5 USER EXPERIENCE

In most cases, the majority of visitors to your website will be using their phone.

However, a significant amount will also use desktop computers, laptops and other portable devices.

We make sure that your website looks great across all devices without compromising on functionality.

Your website should be pleasant for visitors to use and navigate. If the user-experience is good, then the visitors will incorporate that experience into how they feel about your brand.

There’s nothing worse for a visitor to your website than a bad user-experience.

You wouldn’t go back to a supermarket where it’s frustrating or difficult to find what you’re looking for.

Websites are the same.

Kind Words

“I’m thrilled with the website, it’s lovely and works great. I’m actually really relieved there were no surprises when it came to how much money I would have to spend!”
